Born to live. 03/24/2010
"Man is born to live and not to prepare to live." ~ Boris Pasternak I know for me it's so easy to get heady about everything. That monkey mind chatter is relentless and tells me what to do, what not to do, how I should feel, what I should and shouldn't trust, on and on and on like a ticker tape. But what I'm transitioning to is learning to lead from what my heart feels and to listen to my monkey mind less. I'm finding more ease and quicker decision when I trust my heart. It feels like anything is possible. Anyone else out there starting to do more of this too? What are you finding? Add Comment Look for the assistance. 03/16/2010
"If you intend to be of assistance, your eye is not upon the trouble but upon the assistance, and that is quite different. When you are looking for a solution, you are feeling positive emotion but when you are looking at a problem, you are feeling negative emotion. " - Abraham Hicks Rejecting Change. 03/12/2010
"He who rejects change is the architect of decay. The only human institution which rejects progress is the cemetery". - Harold Wilson This makes me laugh! The smoothest way through change is acceptance of what is. You'll create havoc and struggle when you don't surrender to what is. You only hurt yourself. What is love really? 03/03/2010
"After awhile you learn the subtle difference between holding a hand and chaining a soul. And you learn that love doesn't mean security, and you begin to learn that kisses aren't contracts and presents aren't promises......." -Veronica A. Shoftstall I saw this quote and it summed up perfectly what I've always felt and not been able to express for years...So what is security? It's letting go of something/ someone that you find your "security" in and finding comfort in the feeling of free falling into the unexpected and unforeseen ( ie. like when your car dies in the middle of the road at 8:45am and you have to be at work in 15 minutes or when your lover leaves you). | LA Nidra Transformation Quotes & Videos
