Building Trust. 12/09/2009
"Be courteous to all, but intimate with few; and let those be well-tried before you give them your confidence." -George Washington There are times when it's easy to trust someone quickly. That works until there is a misunderstanding and it can make either or both parties lose trust just as quickly because there wasn't enough time set aside for trust to build. Letting trust do it's job is something that we can let happen by not managing it like an overbearing boss. Lasting trust builds it's temple slowly and securely as long as we don't come in and tell it how to build what it's making or to speed it up.
